ChipsWIN is Belgiums Chips Competence Centre, funded by the European Union and Wallonia to strengthen the national semiconductor ecosystem. Led by UCLouvain in collaboration with Ignity (a technical incubator in Liege) and Imagine Microelectronics, the centre aims to reduce barriers for startups and SMEs entering the semiconductor sector. By providing access to advanced facilities, technical expertise, and European networks, ChipsWIN fosters innovation, supports industrial growth, and positions Belgium as a strong contributor to the European semiconductor landscape.
