CC-NORCHIP
CC-NorChip is a collaboration focusing on microchip design, materials technology, and advanced technology access for Norwegian SMEs.
CC-NorChip is a competence center focused on enhancing Norway's position in advanced microchip technology. Its mission is to support small and medium-sized enterprises in adopting cutting-edge technology by providing expertise in microchip design, materials technology, microfabrication, and packaging. Key services include facilitating access to advanced development facilities and promoting innovation and commercialization. Target audiences include Norwegian and European companies, especially SMEs. The center collaborates with institutions like SINTEF, NTNU, and several universities, and is supported by the EU and the Research Council of Norway, aiming to bolster technology leadership and sustainability in the region.
