As part of the Chips Think Tank webinar series, we are pleased to invite you to a discussion on the next phase of Europes semiconductor strategy.
The European Chips Act marked a major step in strengthening Europes semiconductor ecosystem. The industry keeps evolving rapidly, and Europe now has the opportunity to build on this experience to stay competitive and reinforce its position in the global semiconductor value chain.
This session will feature Marco Ceccarelli, Programme Officer at DG CONNECT, European Commission. Marco took part in drafting and negotiating the European Chips Act and now works on its implementation. He will discuss with Regis Hamelin, Blumorpho CTO and aCCCess Coordinator.
During the webinar, the speakers will share insights on: the European Commissions assessment of the current Chips Act, the main priorities emerging from this analysis, the changes proposed under the Chips Act 2.0, what this next phase means for the European semiconductor ecosystem.
The session will close with a live Q&A with Marco Ceccarelli. By fostering dialogue between policy makers, research, industry and innovation stakeholders, aCCCess supports the development of a strong, connected European semiconductor ecosystem.
