CHIPS JU ECS Calls
DESCRIPTION
The Chips JU has two open calls for proposals under its Electronic Components & Systems (ECS) programme, funded through Horizon Europe:

Innovation Action (IA) according to SRIA 2026 Identifier: HORIZON-JU-CHIPS-2026-1-IA Funds large-scale Innovation Actions focused on industrial deployment, pilot activities, and market-ready semiconductor solutions. Targeted TRL: 5-8, Budget EUR 40M

Research & Innovation Action (RIA) according to SRIA 2026 Identifier: HORIZON-JU-CHIPS-2026-1-RIA Supports Research and Innovation Actions addressing key technological challenges across the semiconductor value chain.Targeted TRL: 3-4, budget EUR 50M.
Both calls are co-funded with the national funding authorities and follow a two-stage process, with submission of a Project Outline (PO) followed by a Full Project Proposal (FPP).
