On 17 July 2026, ChipNL CC co-organises a free half-day workshop on the sidelines of the Optica ImageSense Congress in Maastricht. Hosted jointly with the Finnish (FiCCC) and Austrian (AT-C3) Chips Competence Centres as part of the Chips for Europe Initiative, the workshop connects startups, SMEs, large enterprises and research institutions in photonics and quantum with Europe's Chips ecosystem: funding routes, Competence Centre programmes and partners, in a single afternoon.
The programme covers the role of the Chips JU ecosystem, funding pathways through Chips JU, EU pilot lines and national schemes, and the skills and training services of the Chips Competence Centres, followed by structured networking over lunch. Open to everyone, with or without an Optica congress ticket.
Confirmed speakers include Dirk Van Meer (Oost NL), with more to be announced.
