This event alongside ECOC 2026 will provide an introductory overview of PIC technologies, the ecosystem and application potential.
Participants will gain insights into the main photonic integration platforms, the markets and applications enabled by mainstream technologies, and the opportunities available to access research, development, experimentation and pilot prototyping capabilities.
The session will also address training and workforce development, while industry representatives will share practical perspectives on the development and adoption of integrated photonics solutions.
The event will conclude with a networking activity and lunch, offering participants the opportunity to exchange ideas, establish new connections and explore potential collaborations.
PIXSpain acts as a gateway to connect organisations with knowledge, training opportunities, technological capabilities and specialised expertise to support the development and adoption of integrated photonics.
