The Danish Chips Competence Centre (DKCCC) headquartered at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) serves as the national hub for chip technology, supporting SMEs and startups in semiconductor and quantum chip design and fabrication.
The Danish Chips Competence Centre (DKCCC), headquartered at DTU in Lyngby, is a key player in advancing Denmark's semiconductor capabilities under the European Chips Act. Established with EU and national funding, DKCCC offers Danish and European SMEs and startups streamlined access to state-of-the-art facilities, research expertise, and specialized services in semiconductor and quantum chip design and fabrication. The centre operates as a consortium comprising DTU Nanolab, Aarhus University, the University of Copenhagen's Niels Bohr Institute, Danish Fundamental Metrology (DFM), and Danish Industry (DI). Together, they aim to foster innovation, strengthen commercial chip development, and connect Danish companies to both national and European networks and resources, thereby promoting growth, collaboration, and market opportunities in the chip sector.
